PIA San Diego Adds Plant Tours to Its Exciting Expo Line Up
Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, PIA/SD will host tours at various print production plants in San Diego County. Attendees may attend the Digital Printing plant tours at L+L Printers on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, the Large Format Printing plant tour will be held at Blend. Lastly, on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, the Specialty & Finishing Techniques plant tours will be held at Golden Rule Bindery or In to Ink. Attendees may choose to attend one tour per day, as tours do conflict with one another in order to accommodate attendees’ locations.
Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes tour of PIA/SD member plants, equipment, products, services, expertise, and more. These tours will be an opportunity for current and potential customers, as well as anyone interested in the many facets of a print plant, to see new technology used to produce print and marketing pieces, and how to design and market pieces to utilize technology, expertise and finishes to communicate more effectively.
Cost to attend plant tours is $5 per tour, per person. The U.S.P.S. and Union Tribune tours each cost $15 per person to attend. Registration is required for all PIA Expo events. The PIA Expo Trade Show will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at the San Diego Convention Center and is expected to draw over 1,500 attendees.
